Kelly Kettle

Kelly Kettles are primarily used for heating water at speed. They rely on a small fire being made by the user. The small fire is built in the base and then a double walled kettle is placed on the top(with the spout facing the opposite way from hole in the base, this prevents boiling water spirting at the user). The chimney runs through the centre of the kettle, the fire in the base is fed through the chimney. Heat from the chimney and base, boils the water in the chimney at speed (Click the image below for a Kelly Kettle Instruction sheet).
