The Forest School Program was initially designed to be run within a school setting. As with all curriculum areas in a school, as a teacher you want to see the children make progress. This progress may not be measurable or as tangible as progress in other subjects but you still want to see it and be able to explain it.
As a Forest School Practitioner an understanding of; learning theories, how the Forest School Programme Helps People holistic learning/development and how behaviour can impact on the programme is essential. As a practitioner it is also important to reflect on your own training and delivery of sessions to help improve your own practice further.
